Looking for descendants of Squire S. Baker, Mercy Baker Cottrell Manning, Maria Baker McCorkle Weakline. Squire Baker came to Johnson County about 1839. The family is on 1850 census. Youngest daughter born in IA, age 11. Rest of children 25 - 14 were born in OH. Squire was born in NY. Wife Maria ?? born in PA. He is still living with Mercy Mannen (Manning) on 1870 census. Searching for his date and place of death and also that of his wife, Maria.

Squire S. Baker is my GGG grandfather on maternal side. Maria Baker McCorkle is my GGG Grandmother.
