Hello,
I’m back working on my Lyle line. Still hoping to find any information on William and Matthew Lyle.
In 1860 William and his family were in Oxford, Johnson County a few houses away from William's brother Matthew's widow Ann.
The last I know about William is that he and his wife Susan Sturgeon Lyle sold land in Johnson County. Feb 8, 1862 to Patrick Connors and Jan 7, 1864 to Catharine Kief.
By 1870 Susan and her 4 children were in California and William wasn’t with them.
