BUSCH, HOCKINGBERGER, STELZER, CUTTLE

Researching my great-grandparents, Celestin Busch,b August 13, 1831, Prussia m Ursula (Rosa) Hockingberger (could be various spellings) in Johnson County, Iowa on October 9, 1856. Ursula (Rosa) was b March 5, 1839 in Prussia and d March 24, 1904 in Iowa City, Iowa. Both are buried there. 1870 Census shows them in Iowa City with daughters Anne 12, Catharine (my grandmother Katie) 10, Margaret, 4 and Lena age 1. Possibly another child Lillian Celestin died Nov 12, 1875. Apparently Rosa (Ursula) married neighbor, widower John Kurz or Kurtz in Feb, 1877. Church affiliation poss. Zion Lutheran, Iowa City, IA. Any help would be much appreciated. 15 Jan 2002
