I would like to find a person in the area of Johnson County Iowa who could check the old the old property records for the mid to late 1840 and find the property purchasing information for a Samuel and Eleanore McCord who came from PA to IA after 1944 and purchased land in Johnson Cty. I have not been able to find where they came from in PA and this may give a clue. Thank you
