Historical Legislators from Johnson County

Hello,

My name is Hanna Howard and I work for the Iowa Legislature’s Legislative Services Agency in Des Moines. I’m doing a bit of biographical/historical research on past legislators this summer. I’m trying to find information about a few legislators who served Johnson County in the mid-nineteenth century, around the time Iowa was admitted to the Union. Their names, the Legislative or General Assemblies in which they served, and the years they served are listed below:

Harrison, Joseph E., General Assembly 2 (1848-1850)
Davis, George T., General Assembly 8 (1860-1862)

I’m particularly interested in finding their birth and death dates and the names of their spouses (if they were married). If anyone has any information about these men they'd be willing to share I'd very much appreciate it!
