Fran,

Yes, we are aware of the Waltermires in this 1880 Census. Also, You will notice on the 1870 Census too, that Caroline's brother Winchell Collins is living with the Waltermires (1870 Census Shuyville, Jefferson twnship, Johnson, Iowa (img 375)). Did your Collins' family have a son named Winchell/Michell/ or some variation of this name? If I can find him or his sister Caroline on a 1860 Census living with this Collins' family you speak of, then we would be in luck.
In the meantime, do you have your own genealogy website too?
