In Response To: Catholic Churches? (Cheryl)

Hi Cheryl

According to the History of Johnson County, Iowa, published in 1883 and reprinted by Unigraphic Inc., in 1973 - St. Mary's was Organized in 1840 and St. Patrick's was organized in 1863. St. Mary's was refered to as the German Catholic Church and St. Pat's was refered to as the Irish Catholis Church.

There is no mention of St. Wenceslaus so I don't know when it was started.
