Divorce papers would be a Johnson COunty Iowa COurt house in Iowa City. however a lot of their old records are stored off site and it is real hard to get some one to take you to that site and stay while you hunt through the records. you almost need a date for the divorce. My experience is in finding my grandfathers divorce papers it was not in a book just for divorces but a book of all kinds of court things and I happened to know about the year of the divorce and this was several years ago when the books were stored at the court house. you might want to try contacting the court house (clerk of court) and see what they say.
