Looking for Land Information

JOHN OR PETER DENSEL, JOSEPH ORRIS

I am looking for land information for John Peter (or Peter John) Densel from about 1849 - 1855. He came from Pennsylvania. He was a farmer and/or a blacksmith on several censuses between 1850 and 1860.

He may have traveled with Joseph Orris, whom I believe had a land grant in the North Liberty area (he was John Peter's brother-in-law). I believe Joseph died ca 1855-60.

I know that the Densel's moved to Marshalltown ca 1860.
