There is a very small death notice in the Cedar Rapids Republican on January 22, 1907. It is hard to read. The heading reads ....................
"Three Pioneers Pass On"
Aged Johnson County Residents are Called Home

As best as I can tell the rest reads ..............
Three pioneers are dead at their respective homes near Iowa City, John Kroul, aged ??, who lived north of North Liberty for 50 years, is one. Two sons and a sister, the latter in Iowa county, survive.
