My possible ggrandfather George Watterson and his brother Adam Watterson are listed on the 1880 census in Solon, Johnson Cty., Ia as working on the railroad. I cannot find either of them again. I don't know if they followed the railroad or settled down or died. Does anyone have info as to where the railroad work continued to? I cannot find them on the 1885 census, either. Anyone out there have info?
