Looking for info on Jacob YAGER family found in 1880 in Liberty, Johnson Co., Iowa. Was he from Muskingum County, Ohio (near Taylorsville)? Did his father and mother come to Ohio about 1830? Did he have two older brothers named John (of Wisconsin) and Archardt YAGER (of Ohio); and other siblings born and died in Rittershoffen, Alsace, France? Was he the son of John?Jean YAGER/JAEGER (any spelling)? Was his mother Magdalena GOETZMAN YAGER who later married a Mr. ZIMMER in Ohio ?? Thanks for any help.
