I am looking for the descendents of Jakob Rees und Agatha Stehle. In 1880, Jakob was a saloon keeper, living in the 3rd ward of Iowa City. Agatha was also with him. The 1880 census has his name as Reis. Agatha was born in 1816 und Jakob in 1817, although the census puts them both in 1816. One son Frank J born 1859 in Iowa is with them. This Rees family left Germany in 1852 with one daughter Katharina (12 dec 1844) who died on 16 sep 1864. She was one of their six children born in Deutschland, the last being Antonia (30 Nov 1851 - 27 feb 1852). There should have been some children born between Antonia und Frank, but the census lists no other sons.
