I am searching for info on-
Sarah J. Berry born April 9, 1830 in OH
Married Benjamin Franklin Booth April 10, 1859
in Iowa Cty, or Johnson Cty, IA

Family folklore is that Sarah's father was an Iowa State Senator from Iowa
County. I have a photo of Sarah and her mother and father, but no names of
her parents or any siblings.

Search from Secretary of States office Iowa look up and this is what was found-

I have not located a Senator Berry of Iowa County in the 1800's.

From a reference called, THE IOWA GENERAL ASSEMBLY: OUR LEGISLATIVE
HERITAGE 1846-1980 I have located 3 names with the last name Berry.

They are:

Henry S. Berry House of Representatives, Monroe County,
Republican, Farmer,
Terms 1921, 1923, 1925, 1929, 1931

R.C. Berry House of Representatives, Calhoun County, Republican, Farm
Manager, Terms 1949 and 1951

W.H. Berry Senate District 11, Warren and Clarke Counties, Republican,
Lawyer
Terms 1896 and 1898
