the older catholic churches in Iowa city are:
St. Patricks 435 S. Linn Street, Iowa city, St. Wenceslaus chruch 623 Fairchild street and St. Marys 302 E. Jefferson. since they were Irish catholic I would try st. Marys. a lot of czecks went to St. Wenceslaus but I found my Irish catholic marriage at St. Marys
