James Grady Obit

I am looking for a date on an obit. The obit states that my grandfather's brother James Grady died less than one week after an accident on the fourth of July, but I do not have a day or year of his death. He was in a railroad accident near Melcher, Iowa. He died in Mercy Hospital, Des Moines. The obit states his body was taken to his brother Leo's house here. Since Leo was living in Iowa City at the time, I am assuming this obit is from an Iowa City paper. He was employed with C., R. I. & P. at the time of the accident. His daughter, Ruth is listed as 22 in the article so I am assuming that year must have been 1921, 1922, or 1923. I would appreciate anyone who is willing to check the newpaper archives so I can get a date of death for him. Thank you in advance, Pat
