In Response To: Henry Scoville Gould's family (Beth Sherman)

Perhaps someone else will be able to help you with Henry S. Gould's sibblings and parents. I cannot find info on them.

I do find the family in the 1860 census in Penn Twp. and in 1870 in Madison Twp.

There are a few mentions of Henry S. Gould in the History Johnson County here: http://books.google.com/books?vid=OCLC26687901&printsec=titlepage
Down the right side of this page, type "Gould" in to the "Search in this book" box.

And I see you will find pictures of Jemima, Henry and a couple of other Goulds at the IAGenWeb Gravestone Photo Project: http://iowagravestones.org/gs_view.php?id=49306

Henry S. Gould is listed in the 1854 census. Search here: http://iagenweb.org/census/

And lastly, but not least, have a search of the IAGenWeb County site for Gould using the search box: http://iagenweb.org/johnson/.

Hope this helps a bit,
Steve
