ELMER P. DAVIS FUNERAL YESTERDAY
The funeral of Elmer Peter Davis was held yesterday afternoon at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Davis in Union township. Despite the fact that the funeral was private, many friends and neighbors gathered in their cars about the house and along the highway, and followed the youth they loved and respected to his last resting place in Unity cemetery.

Mrs. Davis is not ill as reported yesterday, but all of the five children are ill-- the oldest son, John is suffering most at this time. It is hoped that all will soon recover.
