Mrs. Bryan Dennis is Dead

Yesterday at 6 o'clock occured the death of Mrs. Agnes J. Dennis at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Milton Remley, of this city.

Mrs. Dennis was 75 years of age and was born in Greenfield, Ohio. She came to this county in 1839 in company with her parents, and in 1846 was united to marriage to Bryan Dennis. They took up their residence in Clear Creek Township where they lived until four years ago when they moved to the city.

Mrs. Dennis suffered a stroke of paralysis Wednesday morning and lived but 24 hours after. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn her loss. The children are Mrs. Mary Howe of Pasadena, California, Mrs. Josephine Remley and E. E. Dennis of Iowa City, and Mrs. Hattie Heberlng of Lamoni, Iowa.

The funeral took place from the Remley home today at 2 o'clock.
