LITTLE SON OF E. J. STRUB DIES

Friends of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Strub, formerly of Iowa City will sumpathize with them in the death of their youngest son, Lawrence, who passed away Tuesday night at nine fifteen o'clock.

The little fellow was born in Iowa City nine years ago and resided here till six years ago when he went with his parents to Marengo where they have lived since.

The lad has been critically ill of heart trouble for several months and made a valiant struggle against death. He was a bright, attractive child and beloved by all who knew him.

He is the second child of Mr. and Mrs. Strub to die since their residence in Marengo, the first child, Lucile, having died about five years ago. Lawrence, who will be laid to rest in Iowa City, is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Strub and his maternal grandmother is Mrs. Susie Gibbs of Iowa City. Surviving are his brother and sister, Clarence and Marie Strub.
