Mary A. Reiman, 49 of Iowa City died December 26, 2005 after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 30, 2005 at Lensing’s Oak Hill 210 Holiday Road-Coralville from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. From 7:30 to 8:00 pm the family invites you to come laugh, cry and share with them.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 31 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Mary A. Reiman Memorial Fund, c/o Hills Bank.

Mary was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on March 1, 1956 the daughter of Claude and Verna (Lawrence) Van Driel. She earned a degree in Fashion Merchandizing from Alexandria Tech Institute and later earned a business degree from Worthington Community College. On September 8, 1979 she married Dale Reiman in Hills, Minnesota. She worked for Steve Betcher insurance company/ American Family Insurance.

Mary was a member of PEO and University Club. Mary shared her strong faith at Christ the King Lutheran Church and her influence was abundant in her church community. She and Dale were foster parents. Mary was an amazing lady; she truly lived every day to the fullest. She was a Hawkeye fan, professional seamstress and was most importantly a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Dale of Iowa City, two daughters, Moriah Reiman of Coralville, IA and Danielle Reiman of Philadelphia, PA. She is survived by her parents, Claude and Verna Van Driel of Luverne, MN, two sisters, Jayne Peterson and her husband Ron of St. Cloud, MN, Bette Krause and her husband Arthur of Colorado Springs, CO, mother and father-in-law, Leonard and Anice Reiman of Altoona, WI, two brother-in-laws, James Reiman and his wife Dianne of Eau Claire, WI, and Ryan Reiman and his wife Libby of Prescott, AZ and by one sister-in-law, Susanne Baron and her husband Duane of Sauk Rapids, MN. She is also survived by a special foster son, Jawon Perry of Iowa City, IA.

She is preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Van Driel.
