Virginia (Ginny) White,60, passed away on September 25, 2024 in Iowa City, in the loving company of family and friends.

Ginny was born on November 14, 1963 in Keokuk, IA to Dwaine White, Sr. and Joann Trugagos White.

She is survived by her siblings, Marjory (Charles) Seiferd, Mark (Ronda) White, Eric (Ginger) White, Joann (Cevin) Coffield and sister-in-law, Pam White.

Ginny is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother Dwaine White, Jr, and sister Charlotte White.

Ginny White was especially close to her nephew, Larry White and her former employer, landlord and friend, Ginny Blair.

She made many friends in her most recent home, Ecumenical Towers and didn’t want to leave there, but could not stay on. She is remembered as being generous with what she had, her quick wit and her love of animals, cats, dogs and chipmunks.

Memorials may be directed to Friends of the Animal Center Foundation or DVIP.
