Diane K. (Stroud) Siems, age 68 of Oxford died Thursday, July 18, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 10am Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7pm Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Stead Family Children’s Hospital, c/o University of Iowa Foundation. Diane Kay Stroud was born October 11, 1955, in Iowa City the daughter of Earl and Irene (Kelly) Stroud. She married Wayne A. Siems on August 23, 1980, in Iowa City. She has worked for the Iowa City School District at West High School and later at Clear Creek Schools. Always lived in this area where she cherished her family and friends. Diane loved spending time with family and friends, going to yearly BbQ's to just hanging out at her son’s getting some of her favorite home cooked meals. She was very supportive of all her family and never judged. Her family loved when they thought she would be napping and say something and she would reply, she was always listening and watching. She loved spending time with her son and granddaughter and cherished her visit with little Miss Willow! She is and will for ever be rooting for her Iowa Hawkeyes!

Her family includes her husband, Wayne; son and his wife, James and Tammy Siems; grandchildren, Hannah Siems, Dakoda VanCleve (Rachel), Reilly Beitz-Siems and Dakota Ketelsen; great-grandaughter, Willow VanCleve; Diane’s sisters, Robin Cox (Donnie), Barbara Brandt and Betty Staley; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Terry Abbott, Ginger Rost and Christine Mayers; brothers, Ronald Stroud, Frank Stroud, Bill Stroud, Ed Stroud, and Richard Stroud.

She is sadly missed by her family, friends and her favorite fur grand kids Neiko and Dexter!
