James “Jim” Allen Nye, 64, of Coralville, IA, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024. Cremation has taken place and a private family service has taken place.

Jim was born in Iowa City on November 2, 1959 the son of William and Catherine (Moseley) Nye.

Jim is survived by six siblings, William Nye II of Cantrall, IL, Cathy Nye of South Dakota, Susan Eggert (Jeff) of Conway, AR, Jerry Nye of Coralville, Tom Nye of Winter Haven, FL, and Don Nye of Iowa City; and many extended family.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Bob Nye.
