Tammy Rowe, 65, of Coralville, passed away of a short-term illness on Friday August 25, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving and supportive family.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 30 from 4-6 PM, at Lensing Funeral Home,605 Kirkwood Avenue, Iowa City, Iowa, and a funeral will be held at Lensing Funeral Home on Thursday, August 31 at 11 AM with a luncheon following at The Kirkwood Room.

Tammy was born on December 2, 1957, in Fort Madison, the daughter of Bill and Helen
(Kramer) Sebers. The family then moved to Cedar Rapids. She graduated from LaSalle High School and later from Kirkwood Community College earning a degree in accounting.

She met the love of her life, Rollie Rowe, in 1977. They married on May 27, 1978. Rollie and Tammy owned R&R Lawn Care, Inc. from 1979 until 2019 when they passed it on to their daughter Tiffany. Tammy had many other jobs before she found her calling selling insurance. Her specialty was selling to seniors. She eventually formed her own successful Independent Insurance Company, Senior Benefits.

Tammy was a Special Olympics Coach from 1995-1999. She had the pleasure to attend the World Games where her daughter Tanna won 2 Gold medals in Swimming in North Carolina in 1999.

Tammy enjoyed playing slot machines and was very lucky, winning some large jackpots. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family any chance she could get. She also enjoyed spending all her free time with her husband and her dogs.

Tammy will be remembered for her loyalty, love, humor, strength and being a warrior for the strongest fight ever, her life.

Survivors include her husband, Rollie W. Rowe of Coralville; her two loving daughters Tanna L. Rowe and Tiffany S. (Rick Seemuth) Rowe all from Coralville; her 4 loving dogs Molly, Lizzy, Millie and Missy; and her best friend of many years LuAnn Moody.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Helen Sebers; her sister Karla; and many dogs she had throughout her life.
