Craig Kletzing, professor, researcher, husband, and friend died peacefully at home Thursday, August 10, 2023.

Friends will gather Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 1 PM to 4 PM at Brix, 209 N. Linn St, Iowa City.

Memorials may be made in support of the Physics and Astronomy Gift Fund to the University of Iowa Center for Advancement, P.O. Box 4550, Iowa City, IA 52244-4550. On memo line note “Gift in memory of Dr. Craig Kletzing”. Donations may also be made online at https://donate.givetoiowa.org.

Craig was born February 3,1958 in Sacramento, California, the son of Russell and Ruth (Staples) Kletzing.

Craig is survived by his wife, Jeanette.

Craig was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother, James.
