Frank Edward Bartling, 84, died Friday, February 17. 2023 at UIHC.

Frank was born March 20, 1938 in Ackley, Iowa, the son of Edward and Blanche (Bullemer) Bartling. On June 20, 1959 Frank married Karen Wikert. They were residents of Marion for many years, prior to moving to the Iowa City area.

Frank loved to fish with his son. They were active with BMX Motocross. Frank especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his wife Karen; daughter, Coral (Thomas) Delancey of Lisbon; grandchildren, Kimberly and Benjamin Delancey and Lexi Bartling, all of Cedar Rapids; and his sister, Barb (Kent) Kruse of Cedar Falls.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Joe Bartling.
