Kathleen A. Davis, 68, died at home Wednesday, December 7, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM, prior to the service, Burial will be at a later date at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Friends of the Animal Center Foundation.

Kathleen was born July 12, 1954 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Leslie and Theresa (DeTaeye) Schotka. On July 11, 2002 Kathleen married Thomas Davis in Aurora, CO.

She received her bachelor's degree from St. Ambrose University and her MBA from Regis University. Kathleen served in the US Army.

Kathleen lived in Colorado for many years, where she was an auditor for the United States Department of Interior. In 2015 Kathleen and her husband, Thomas, moved to Lone Tree.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Thomas; her sons, Michael (Brianne) Dignin and Jerry Gross Jr; her mother, Theresa Schotka; six grandchildren and, one great grandchild; her siblings, Linda (Drake) Johnson, Ann (Al) Schneider and Marty Schotka; her mother-in-law, Joan Davis; and her brother and sister-­in-law, Mark Davis and Lynn (Kenny) Bland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her father.
