Roger V. Landuyt, 43 of North Liberty died on Friday, August 19, 2005 after injuries received in a car accident.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 11:00 am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Iowa City. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Lensing Funeral Service 605 Kirkwood Ave. Iowa City. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society.

Roger was born December 1, 1961 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Verlyn Landuyt and Alice (Meader) Landuyt. He graduated from Regina High School. Roger served in the United States Navy. After serving in the military he received his BA in Political Science from the University of Iowa. Roger was an avid Hawkeye fan; golfer and he also enjoyed salt water fishing. He worked for Marsh & McLennan in Des Moines, Iowa.

He is survived by his mother, Alice Landuyt of North Liberty, Iowa, his father, Verlyn Landuyt of Indian Shores, FL, by his two sisters; Christine (Jeff) Krause of Superior, CO, Amy Landuyt of San Francisco, CA and by his brother, Eric Landuyt of Arlington, VA. Roger is also survived by one nephew Troy Krause, his grandmother Ruth Landuyt of Belle Plaine and by numerous nieces and nephews.
