David Krummel, 53, of Iowa City, Iowa passed away on October 2, 2022 at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated, and no public services will be held. A private family service is planned.

David was born in Iowa City, Iowa on October 3, 1968 to Merle and Judy (Topp) Krummel. He graduated from high school in 1987 and earned his ED.D. degree in education from the University of Iowa.

David is survived by his children, Sean and Emily, his father, Merle Krummel, and sister, Kara Logsden.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents Lester Topp, Vada (Willits) Edleman, and Ralph and Lillian (Hudachek) Krummel.
