Judith Nelson Snyder, 83, passed away peacefully at Pioneer Park in Lone Tree, IA on September 25, 2022.

A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday September 28, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Avenue, Iowa City.

Judith was born on September 25, 1939 in Burlington, Iowa. She worked at The University of Iowa, retiring after 25 years. She enjoyed traveling, country music and her very special “Breakfast Club” with girl friends from childhood.

She is survived by her children Terry (Bonny) Lehman of Iowa City, Rita Vickroy of Georgia and Robin (Gene) Russell of Coralville; son-in-law Chris Von Lienen of North Liberty; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Stephanie Von Lienen, grandson Chase Von Lienen, and sister Barb Hook.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Lone Tree Health Center and Avalon Hospice for the love and care given to Judith.
