Carol Lynn Boxwell, 65, of 2228 California Avenue died Friday, August 12, 2005 at Mercy Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 11 AM at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service with the Rev. Thomas Hulme officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home following the services a reception will be held at Fairview Golf Course. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

Carol was born February 19, 1940 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Gilbert and Helen Davis Dunn. On June 25, 1960 she married Howard Boxwell in Davenport, Iowa.

Carol attended Trinity Episcopal Church. She had been a seamstress, a homemaker and cared for children in her home. She had bowled on a league at Plamor Lanes, did craftwork, enjoyed shopping and attending stock cars races.

Carol is survived by her husband, Howard; three children, Deborah (Debby) Mae
Knottnerus and Simba of Hills, Brian (Denise) Boxwell and their sons Mitchell and Alexander of North Liberty, and Robert (Alexa) Boxwell and their children Garrett, Hannah and Joseph of West Liberty; one brother Gary Dunn of Ojai, California; one sister Kathleen
(Robert) Meador of Knoxville, Iowa; nieces and nephews; her beloved pet, Keeba

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons Scott and Jeff.
