Lazzerick Martez Alexander died Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Hospice Serenity House.

Committal was at the Al-Iman Cemetery in Iowa City.

Lazzerick was born October 24, 1980 in Chicago, the son of Andrew and Pamela (Alexander) Howard. On September 1, 2020 he married Jocelyn McGee.

Lazzerick is survived by his wife, Jocelyn of Oskaloosa and children, Lazzerick and King; his parents; his siblings, Anthony, DeMarquez, Barry, Andre, Andrew Jr., Angel, Shareylle, and Shanika; grandparents, Catherine Patton, Evelyn Howard and Arlee Howard.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gene Amos.
