Brian C. Yauk, 50, of Iowa City, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 in the intensive care unit at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be this summer in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Holbrook, Iowa.

Born December 9, 1971 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Garry and Patricia
(Weldon) Yauk, Brian grew up in Kalona and graduated from Mid Prairie High School.

Survivors include a daughter Savannah Yauk of West Burlington and a son Aaron Yauk of Wisconsin; his parents, Garry and Pat Yauk of Iowa City; Mikel (Kari) Yauk of Fayette, Iowa, Katie (Scott) Finken of Windsor Heights, Iowa and Kristen Hughes (Ro) of Chicago; his maternal grandmother, Vivian Weldon of Iowa City and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and his paternal grandparents.
