Ellenor B. Sprinkle, 80 of Coralville died Friday, July 22 peacefully at her home after a lengthy illness.

The family will greet friends on Friday, July 29, 2005 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Lensing’s Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Road Coralville. Memorials may be directed to the Ellenor B. Sprinkle Memorial Fund.

Ellenor was born June 1, 1925 in Hazelton, Iowa the daughter of Jack J. and Grace (Davis) Oxford. She married Kenneth Sprinkle on September 4, 1964. She worked at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Food Service until her retirement. Ellenor was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sprinkle of Coralville; one son, Kenneth Sprinkle, Jr. and his wife Patty of Carlsbad,CA; two daughters, Lowan (Sprinkle) Murray of North Liberty, Kathy Sprinkle and her husband Michael Brenneman of Coralville; one sister Jean Griffith and her husband Bob of Tarpon Springs, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Ryan, Justin, Aaron, Jocelyn and Katelyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
