Colleen A. Humphrey, age 58, passed away surrounded by family on November 15, 2021.

Colleen was born June 28, 1963 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond Tobin, Jr and Sharon Juricic. Colleen was a kind, strong and stubborn woman with wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor. She loved relaxing with her family and listening to music, especially Neil Diamond and Barry Manilow. She loved going on camping trips, even when it would inevitably rain and flood the tent she would then throw in the dumpster. She enjoyed cheering on the Cubs or the Hawkeyes and could often be found watching Dr. Phil or Judge Judy. Colleen would often pass the time by crocheting and sewing. Colleen will be missed by her cherished family and her numerous friends, but her memory will be carried by all who knew her.

Surviving Colleen are children, Jennifer (Matthew Ammirati) Humphrey and Jake (Lindsey) Humphrey; grandson, Warren Humphrey; step granddaughter Issabella Ammirati; siblings, Cathi (Paul) Van Buer, Carolyn (Gordon Pruiett) Tobin, Cissy Tobin, Robert Tobin; step sibings, Tammy (Dave) Anson and Todd (Tricia) Knutsen; mother, Sharon (the late Jim) Juricic; father, Raymond (Diana) Tobin, Jr; nieces and nephews; and her two cats, Thelma and Louise.

Colleen’s family have arranged for a simple cremation in accordance with her wishes. A gathering to celebrate her life will be scheduled soon and details will be published when they are available.

Memorial contributions in Colleen’s memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
