Matthew A. Rigel, age 47, passed away November 14, 2021.

Matthew’s family will receive guests for just visitation at Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service on Friday, November 19, from 4-7 pm.

Matthew was born June 2, 1974 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Dennis and Marlas (Munson) Rigel. Matthew was a quiet man who had a deep love for his family. His favorite things in life was spending time with those he loved, whether that be through travel or just watching television. He loved being with his partner in crime, Deborah, and his four daughters. Matthew will be truly missed, but his memory will be carried by all who loved him.

Surviving Matthew is his beloved wife of 23 years, Deborah; daughters, Elizabeth Manning, Holly Rigel, Sabryna Rigel and Jordan (Michael) Starnes; grandchildren, Jayden, Piper and Gabriel; siblings, Chris (Patty) Rigel, Tracey (Keira) Rigel and Lesley (Luke) Langdale; and father, Dennis Rigel. Sadly, Matthew is preceded in death by his mother, Marlas Rigel.
