Ermadel Williamson, 75, of 17 Westside Drive and a longtime Iowa City resident, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 13, 2005 following a stroke.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 10am at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City with Robert Orr officiating. Committal Services with Al Christopherson officiating will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Coralville. A reception will be held at Lensing’s Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Road, Coralville after the burial. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7pm at the funeral home in Iowa City. Memorials may be directed to the Linn Manor Care Center, Marion, Iowa or the Johnson County Senior Center.

Ermadel was born July 3, 1930 at home in Fayette County, Iowa, the daughter of Amos and Helen Richards Eckheart. She married Louis Williamson on September 28, 1947 in West Union, Iowa.

Ermadel had been employed at ACT for twenty three years. Following her retirement in 1990 she volunteered at the Johnson County Senior Center.

Ermadel is survived by her husband, Louis; her daughter, Iris (Bob) Duff of Cedar Rapids and their children Sarah (Brett) Hansel, Bridgit (Roy) Brandt and Jared Duff; her son,
Keith (Michele) Williamson of Milan, Illinois and their children Kelly (Jim) Foss, Mark Williamson and Lisa Williamson; four great grandchildren, Megan and Jacob Foss, Aaron and Lillian Brandt; two brothers, Emery (Helen) Eckheart of Racine, Wisconsin and Gary (Francile) Eckheart of Whittier, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother Robert.
