Connie Bolba or North Liberty, Iowa, departed from this life on October 17, 2021.

Connie was born on April 1st, 1949 in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of Leo and Delores Baum.

Connie would be described as a very private person, blessed with a good disposition. Her favorite pastimes were road trips in her younger years, and of course getting lost; listening to Elvis Presley (the love of her life); watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and March Madness; visiting wineries and casinos; and laughing and listening to her favorite storyteller – Joe Baxter.

A stack of her accomplishments is available upon request.

Per Connie’s wishes, a simple cremation has been arranged and no visitation or services will be held at this time. Memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice.

Survivors include longtime companion and partner, Joe Baxter; siblings, Robert Baum, Joyce (Bob) Bell, Jean (Jerry) Albers and Dianne (Shane) Wilson. Sadly, Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Delores; siblings, Richard Baum, Mary Lee (LaVern) Leibold and Bonne (Haynes) Hutchinson; and sister-in-law, Betty Baum.
