Frances M. Miller, 86, of 410 W. Zeller Street in North Liberty, died Friday, June 24, 2005 at her home after a lengthy illness.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Lensing’s Oak Hill in Coralville with Reverend Judy Gingerich officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery in North Liberty. Memorials may be directed to the Frances Miller Memorial Fund.

Frances was born March 29, 1919 in Novinger, Missouri, the daughter of John & Bessie (Draper) Kelso. Frances grew up in Novinger and at the age of 9, her family moved to Newton, Iowa. She married George Miller on April 14, 1942 in Oakdale, Iowa. The couple made their home in North Liberty two years later. Frances was a homemaker.

George “Dick” Miller II (Sherrel) of Coralville
James Miller (Susan) of North Liberty
Donald Miller (Lottie) of Cedar Rapids
Larry Robbins (Marlene) of Soldotna, Alaska
Sharon Riggan (Verlyn “Nub” Sager) of Reinbeck
Patricia Jeter (David) of Iowa City

18 Grandchildren and 18 Great grandchildren

Several nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1978, a daughter Phyllis Gustafson, sisters, Hazel Atz, Lottie Stitzer & Minnie Darr, brothers, James and George Kelso, granddaughter Cindy Miller and great-granddaughter Heather Hibbs.
