Bradford Ferson, aged 74, one of Johnson county’s first settlers, died at Iowa City, on the farm he had occupied sixty-one years.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Feb. 4, 1842 and died March 8, 1916. He is buried in the Windham Cemetery.
