Evelyn V. Hamilton, 92, formerly of Coralville and West Branch, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Windmill Manor in Coralville.

Evelyn chose to be cremated. Graveside services and burial will be held
Wednesday at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Cemetery in Iowa City.
The family requests no flowers or plants. Memorials can be directed to the Evelyn Hamilton Memorial Fund. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service is handling arrangements.

Born January 7, 1928 in Hopkinton, Iowa, the daughter of Lester and Viola (Topping) Fall, Evelyn grew up in Olin, Iowa. She graduated from Olin High School.

Evelyn married Robert “Bob” Clothier on October 2, 1947. The couple first lived in Olin and later in Tipton. Bob died on May 5, 1962.

On June 7,1963, Evelyn later married Donald Hamilton in Aledo, Illinois. Raising her family was first and foremost and Evelyn also worked as an account clerk at ACT in Iowa City for 20 years, retiring in 1989. She and her husband very much enjoyed camping and fishing.

Survivors include her children, Debbie Olswold (Ron) of Walford, Iowa,
Craig Hamilton of Coralville, Tim Hamilton of West Liberty and Steve Hamilton (Pam) of Moscow, Iowa; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a son Larry Clothier and a brother Laverle Fall.
