Carolyn E. Bliss of Iowa City was the other victim of the epidemic. She died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Louise Bliss. She was a sophomore in Iowa University; a graduate of Forest Park University, St. Louis and a former student at upper Iowa University, Fayette.

The body will be taken to her old home, Washta, Cherokee County, Iowa for interment.
