LOVED WIFE AND MOTHER CALLED
Last evening at six-forty-five Mrs. John Schuppert passed away at the family home on north Lucas Street. She had been ill only since last Thursday. Her death yesterday came exactly one week to the day after the death of her son Edward’s wife. In fact, her fatal illness began with a chill which seized her immediate after her return from the younger woman’s burial.

Mrs. Schuppert had spent all the forty-five years of her life in Iowa City and was the daughter of Mr. Simon Frauenholz, an old resident of this city who died last February. She was born Nov 8, 1873 and was married to John Schuppert Oct 1, 1895. She is survived by her husband and their three children. Edward now critically ill with pneumonia at a local hospital. Ethel, an employee of the Shrader Drug Co. and Edith registered at the Irish Business College.

The funeral which will be private, will be held from the home at 330 north Lucas Street Thursday at 3 p.m. with services conducted by the Rev. H. Brueckner, pastor of the Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Schuppert was a member of the Royal Neighbors and a host of sorrowing friends mourn with the sadly stricken family.
