W. J. BARRY FUNERAL THIS MORNING
The remains of W. J. Barry arrived from Seattle this morning and the funeral will be held this morning at 10:30 from the home of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Barry, of east Burlington Street. It will be private and will be a military funeral with interment in St. Joseph’s cemetery.

Wm J Barry died at Seattle, Wash October 24, a victim of pneumonia. He formerly lived in this vicinity and later attended the university at Iowa City where his family reside. “Billy” was a member of the Home Guard and was recently transferred and waiting a call overseas to serve humanity. The remains were laid to rest at Iowa City with military honors.
