RESIDENT OF HILLS DIED THIS MORNING
Ira A. Hirt died this morning, at 9:20 at the home of his wife’s parents at Hills, Iowa, after a week’s illness with pneumonia, following influenza. His age was 23 years, one month and four days.

He leaves a wife and a daughter, eight years old. He also leaves his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hirt, six brothers, Fred, Wilfred, Leo, Linus, Robert and Oscar and one sister Mrs. Richard Norris.

Mr. Hirt is well known and has lived in the vicinity of Hills his entire life. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 from the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Wrede, at Hills, Iowa.

The community sympathizes with the family in their affliction.
