CHARLES STANTON DIED THURSDAY
Mr. Charles Stanton died of pneumonia at his home, 113 west College Street yesterday afternoon.

He was a painter and paper-hanger by trade and grew up in Iowa City. He has been employed by the Stillwell firm and later was an employee of the W. J. Hildebrand Co.

The decedent was 53 years of age and is survived by his wife and three children: Ralph D. a soldier in France, Floyd, the son at home and Esther, a daughter, likewise at home.

The funeral will be private and will be held from Donahue’s Saturday at 3:30 pm.
