DANIEL M. SHAFFER DIED YESTERDAY
Daniel M. Shaffer died last night at 10:05 at the home of his brother-in-law, Jacob Will, one and one half miles west of Cosgrove, after an illness of two weeks. Complication of diseases caused his death. He was past seventy-three years of age and single. He had made his home in Johnson County for over fifty years and was well known throughout the county and liked by all who knew him. He leaves four sisters and brothers.

The funeral will take place tomorrow from the home at 1 o’clock, following which services will be held at the Presbyterian Church at Oxford. Burial will be in the Oxford cemetery. Many friends sympathize with the family in their bereavement.
