On Thursday, September 19, 2019, Deb Foster, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away at the age of 65.
Deb’s greatest passions were her children, grandchildren and traveling to different places with her family. She loved hosting family over the holidays and Hawkeye football weekends. She had fun attending her children’s and grandchildren’s school, music and athletic events. Deb enjoyed reading, hiking and dinner out with friends. While she had a successful career as a CPA, she always considered her role as a mother and grandmother as the most rewarding and important one. Deb was beautiful, strong, kind and was always the life of the party.
Deb will be forever remembered by her husband, Bob, and their four wonderful children Joe (Meghan) Foster, Chuck (Katie) Foster, Kristin (Josh) Pyzik, Jill (Matt) Sears, by her mother, Marilyn Trehey, and her beloved grandchildren Brynley, Lewis, Weston, Theodore, Helen, Lincoln, Walter and Maelie. Other surviving family members include her siblings Susie (Albert) Patten, Sandy (John) Davies, David (Nancy) Trehey, Mary Jo (Greg) Palmer, Marcia (Todd) Hanson, Mike (Peg) Trehey and sister-in-law, Teri (Jim) Off. Deb will also be remembered by the rest of her extended family and many dear friends.
Deb was preceded in death by her father, Don Trehey and her sister, Vicki Russell and her sister-in-law, Marcia Travi.
A service will be held on Thursday, September 26 at 1:30pm at St Thomas Moore Catholic Church, 3000 12th Ave, Coralville, IA. A celebration of Deb’s life to follow.
Memorial donations in memory of Deb Foster may be made to the St Louis Zoo, a place she loved to visit with her children and grandchildren.Saint Louis Zoo
