Yutzy Rites

Services were held this afternoon for Herman Yutzy, 52, of Terrace Park Trailer Court, Iowa City, who died at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids Saturday, after a short illness.
The Revs. Carl Smeltzer and Orval Banks officiated at rites in the Kalona Mennonite Church. Burial was in Memory Gardens cemetery in Iowa City. The Peterseim Funeral Chapel in Kalona was in charge of arrangements.
A memorial fund has been established at the Grace Missionary Church in Iowa City, where he was a member.
Mr. Yutzy was born May 19, 1922 in Hutchinson, Kans., the son of Eli N. and Sylvia Miller Yutzy. He married Mary Bontrager Nov. 4, 1941 in Lagrange, Ind.
For the past nine year, he had been employed by CRST trucking company in Cedar Rapids. Prior to that time, he worked as a trucker in the Kalona area. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Shirley) Drollinger of Coralville; two grandsons; his parents, in Hutchinson, Kans.; one brother, John of Leon; one sister, Mrs. Jonas (Fern) Swartzendruber of Montezuma, Ga.; a half-brother, Raymond, and three half-sisters, Mrs. William Nisly, Mrs. Harley Nisly and Laur Yutzy, all of Hutchinson.
